Richard Hairston works as a manufacturing technician. In this role, he installs, maintains, operates and repairs equipment on CME’s factory floor. Hairston also instructs CME students in the proper and safe use of the equipment and assists them with projects and lab exercises.
Hairston brings more than 31 years of manufacturing experience to CME. Before joining CME, he served as a tool and die technician with Whirlpool for 21 years.
He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in tool and die design from Northwest Mississippi Community College.
