Mike Gill

Professor of Practice | Chemical Engineering
 

Mike Gill is an instructor for Manf 150, 152 and 451 and is also a chemical engineering faculty member.

Before joining CME, Gill worked in both the chemical and manufacturing industries in operations, project management, maintenance and plant engineering for Cargill Inc., Akzo Nobel and FXI Inc. He brings more than 30 years of manufacturing experience to CME.

Gill is the recipient of the 2019 School of Engineering Faculty Teaching Award. This is the highest honor the engineering school presents to its faculty based on excellence in the classroom.

He received an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Ole Miss and an MBA from Queens University of Charlotte.
