Scott Kilpatrick currently serves as CME’s Executive Director.
Dr. Kilpatrick previously served as the associate director of external affairs, where he oversaw CME’s academic program, including student advising, teaching, course planning, scholarship administration, and academic assessment. He also managed CME’s Student Professional Development Program, which includes career counseling; coordinating co-op, internship, and full-time job searches; and tracking student placement. He also provides oversight to CME’s technical staff.
Before joining the University of Mississippi, he worked in human resources at Advanced Distributor Products in Grenada and Entergy in Jackson.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1997, his Master of Science in Management from Belhaven College in 2004, and completed his Ph.D. in higher education at UM in 2019. He possesses more than 10 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry.
