Manufacturing Facility Manager
Andy Gossett serves as a manufacturing technician. In his role, he installs, maintains, operates and repairs equipment on CME’s factory floor. He also instructs CME students in the proper and safe use of the equipment and assists them with projects and lab exercises.
Before joining CME, Gossett served for more than 17 years at the Mississippi Mineral Resources Institute, working with students to develop, design, fabricate and test shallow and deep-sea research equipment, including tethered and autonomous vehicles. He also worked with the UM Department of Mechanical Engineering laboratory.
Gossett specializes in 3D design, G-code development and 3D printing.
