Eddie Carr serves as Professor of Practice and instructor of record for Manf 255, 350 and 450. His career includes senior management positions in manufacturing, operations and distribution with manufacturing companies in the Mid-South area. He served with Thomas and Betts, Master-Bilt, Chromcraft Corp. and Dover Elevator, where he was general manufacturing manager for North America manufacturing.
Carr holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Memphis. He has attained Six Sigma Black Belt professional certification. He is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Tennessee and Mississippi and brings 40 years of manufacturing experience to CME.
