As the only program of our kind in the country, CME students are able to take advantage of many opportunities that make their education unique. The biggest benefit of being a CME team member is having these unique learning experiences that transform college students into emerging professionals. Below are a few examples of the experiences that prepare CME students for the modern workforce.
- As a main pillar of the program, students are exposed to our professional development program during their freshman year. Through resume building workshops, Co-Op/Internship placement, and consistent exposure to HR professionals, CME students are among the most marketable and versatile students graduating from college.
- Our “Learn-by-doing” approach allows students to gain invaluable practical experience in both the professional and academic setting. CME students participate in academic classes that work directly with industry on real manufacturing issues. These unique classes allow students to gain experience in continuous flow/layout, standardize work/takt time, and also interdisciplinary problem solving.
Small Class Sizes
- As the only program of our kind in the country, the CME accepts 50 high performing incoming freshman each year. This small class size allows students to gain one-on-one attention from our knowledgeable faculty and staff while developing into highly versatile young professionals.
